The Tao Te Ching is a little book of the greatest wisdom known, coming from the Old Master Lao Tzu, it has only 81 verses written but the words from Lao Tzu has such deep meaning about life and self-awareness, this little book will teach you the importance of oneself and to appreciate the universe we are in, respect what is around us and if we allow it in. it will lead us into the way of our life’s journey.
Life is simple but sometimes we get caught up in our own minds and we make it complicated for ourselves. Remember it is our own choices in life which creates our pathways, Wayne Dyer learnt a lot for himself from this little book of wisdom and he even lived a year of living the life of the Tao Te Ching. He also rewrote the Tao Te Ching in a more simplicity way and in his book, he has his words of the Tao Te Ching as well as Old Master Lao Tzu’s words. I really enjoy reading the verses on a daily basis and looking forward to learning more from this.
Below is the verse 21 both from Wayne Dyer and Old Master Lao Tzu.
Verse 21- Tao Te Ching
How do I know the way of all things at the beginning?
I see it within myself.
The greatest virtue is to follow the Tao and the Tao alone.
The Tao is elusive and intangible.
Although formless and intangible, it gives rise to form.
Although vague and elusive, it gives rise to shapes.
Although dark and obscure, it is the spirit, the essence, the life breath of all things.
Throughout the ages, its name has been preserved in order to recall the beginning of all things.
How do I know the ways of all things at the beginning?
I look inside myself and see what is within me.
Much Love. xxx
